Teen Drivers
How old do you need to be to take driving lessons?
In Washington State, teens must be at least 15 years old to begin driving lessons with a licensed instructor. Our Teen Driver’s Ed program is designed for ages 15–17.
Programs
Do you offer adult driving lessons?
Yes! We offer flexible 1-on-1 adult driving lessons for new drivers and experienced drivers looking to refresh their skills. Packages start at $115/hr.
Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
Yes! We offer pick-up and drop-off service within our service area which includes Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila, and parts of Seattle. A small travel fee may apply depending on distance.

Where are you located?
Seattle One Driving School is located in Burien, WA at 400 SW 152nd St, conveniently serving Seattle, Renton, SeaTac, Tukwila, Federal Way, and surrounding areas.
What documents do I need to bring to my first lesson?
For your first lesson please bring a valid Washington State instruction permit (for students under 18), any government-issued ID, and your enrolled program confirmation.
How long does it take to get a license in Washington?
For teens: typically 6–12 months completing the required 50 hours of supervised driving plus classroom instruction. For adults: it depends on your experience, but many pass within 4–8 weeks of regular lessons.
Pricing
How much do driving lessons cost?
Our Teen Driver’s Ed program starts from $399. Adult lessons are $115/hr with custom packages available. Defensive Driving courses start from $249.
Instructors
Are your instructors certified?
Yes, all of our instructors are Washington State DOL certified and many are active or retired law enforcement officers with extensive road safety experience.
